This has being doing the rounds for a few weeks now but I can't understand this one. He is undoubtedly a great player (or was) and I'm sure if he has maintained his fitness he can still do a job, but surely we have a good selection of wingers already? King, Riley, Hicks, even Johnson? It would be very harsh to bring him in to replace Riley after the form he has been in. I'm sure Smith knows what he is doing but it does look like a funny call to me - unless there's more to the Hicks injury than the club are letting on. I will wait for Tony Smith's explanation if it turns out to be true!

i'm a little bemused about this tbh! hope he has shrugged all those injuries off he had in his last season at the pie!

Happy with the signing if true, seems to be one foe the dressing room atmosphere, if anybody has seen league of their own DVD, he is very prominent in the dressing room.
