Better than most scrum halfs in SL.
We already look a lot stronger for next season. I bet if you look at Lockyers stats over the past 10 years there has been a steady decline, but he would still be one of the best players in SL.
Throw this one in the mix then, using the ever so reliable SL stats, Danny Brough is a better player than Sean Long.
Then consider which teams both play for, it underlines even more that Long, is old, over rated by Hull fans, and a lesser player to that of a Wakefield player, one that Hull got rid of, which makes it even more amusing.

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

Not fear at all its incredulity at you signing yet another pensioner on a last payday. He is still a reasonable player, but he has always played in a stable and quality filled team, how he will fair in another side, which is mediocre at best is something I am looking forward to seeing.
Hope you are playing games on Sunday afternoon next season as 8pm on Fridays will be too late for some of your 'senior' citizens

Has their source at the club confirmed he is still to put pen to paper?
As Gordon Gekko said, agreeing and signing are two different things.
I hope Rovers can get it done asap.
If he signs, great. If he doesn't sign, we move on and look elsewhere.
