Probably the fastest player in the division and never sees the ball. Today was a glorious opportunity and yet got one pass that was considered forward. What a waste of talent.
The whole team pinged for offside time and time again.
The answers is SO simple!! It really is!!!!
Stand BEHIND the referee.
It's not even rocket science.
Good result but could do better.

You never cease to amaze me! We rack up 58 points in 90 degrees heat! And concede one score in eighty mins, look towards the positives instead of pouncing on the negatives, it's not healthy to be so negative! Agreed mapals couldve been used more but gave had a blinder, did you miss that??!!!!!!!
You cannot be seriously saying Cougars were only team offside cougars were penaliised on numerous occasions Workington once. Were you watching same game as me, instread of complaining how about complementing the players on a very good performance.
Lee Mapals is so quick refs are caught out.
League fan if all you can do is nitpick on good performances it time for you to stop coming down.
Today was an opportunity to redress that and stupid dumb thick penalties together with NOT using an effective strike weapon , and yes Hughes played a blinder, doe's not hide the fact that we could have scored more and being penalised when it was not necessary.
It's NOT criticism, or being, negative it is straight forward common sense!!!
I reckon even the coach will agree.
When we have beaten Dewsbury twice and clawed back the competion points the scoring difference will still be in their favour I would suggest.
Here was an opportunity to put 80 + past them and yet..............
It was a good performance but if in your eyes that was acceptable against such opposition then fine, in my eyes it was good but could have been better.

Leaguefan your post referred to Lee Mapals and offside you have deviated from that, yes we could have scored more but the fact remains cougars were penalised for offside more but no way on earth were we alone in that.[/code]
Todays performance was good considering the conditions and to rack up 58 points cannot be critiscised. On the other hand Leaguefan has got a point. I went to Blackpool last week expecting that we would now be in our element with the hard pitches with players like Presley and mapals, but our tactics seemed more suited to Mount Pleasant in the middle of winter. The same thing carried over today. We have some of the fastest players in the division, but we want to just drive it up the middle.
I noticed that we semed not to be moving the ball wide in the first half so in the second i decided to count how often the ball moved to the wings. Duffy and Mapals got the ball on ten occassions, but six of these were from the play the ball. Therefore they only touched the ball in open play four times (three times resulting in tries).
That is not good enough against a team like Workington in conditions that will suit us. If we are going to do well this year we need to make the best of the assets we have, as Dewsbury and Oldham will not fail to rack up the points if given the chance.

That sounds to me like you watched the game, with both eyes open
So did we both see the postives rather than negatives, do you know some players read this and must be bemused with the fact we had good convincing win and still get criticised.
Guess who how many eyes did you use, I used both with aid of sunglasses
