Do we think it's a big surprise that Sky have opted not to show this instead opting for Cas v Catalans (Saturday) and Hull KR v Wigan (Sunday) that weekend?

Not really - the game between the two at Easter was pretty mediocre fare despite being close and they obviously don't reckon Bradford will be competitive away from Odsal.

Nice to see something different from the same games every year.

I know what you mean but it wasn't that long ago 24,000 turned up at Odsal to watch them play - how times change.

Could never see it happenning to a Wigan v Saints match. I can't remember the last time one of our derbies wasn't televised.

Bradford were still winning trophies then!.

to be fair i think people have probably got sick and tired of seeing the same games 3 or 4 times a season

I see Bradford v Saints isn't being shown either by Sky (they've televised everyone since 2001 - which I recall was due to be shown but was frozen off).

Still think its a surprise considering they've beaten both this season.

Castleford-Catalans will probably be closer.
Don't they have to show each team a minimum number of times a season?

They didn't show one Leeds V Bradford game in the year (I think) when Wigan were avoiding relegation

I think the only stipulation used to be that they had to broadcast from each home venue at least three times a season but whether thats changed with the increase of teams I don't know. I think it might be two now. They've done two games from Celtic and I can't see them going back there given the league postion. If they had to go back a third time I think they'd have done our Wigan match there in a couple weeks. They'll have done two games from France as well this year when they show them v Quins.
