Hmm backward no, but of all the places I could spend hard earned money to go and visit in Europe, the only reason i'd go to perpignan or france for that matter is for the rugby. The £6 was simply a reference to what people have mentioned, personally I don't tend to drink as much on holiday as I do at home.
Just to clarify my point.

Clearly they don't live in the real world where the last train back North from Kings Cross goes at 8pm / 8.30pm on a Saturday

Whilst I agree that Sky do mess with peoples plans, a B&B for £30 a night in London and a £25 train ticket doesn't really compute when compared with the hundreds of pounds spent arranging a trip to France. We swallowed the HKR match being bounced, as we have with nearly every other fixture, but I would live to see the attitude if one of the so called big 4 had this happen to them.

Apart from their opening fixture against Wigan has there ever been a regular season super league game shown by Sky at the Dragons?

Didn't gat an answer when I asked Radford how much he paid Stokes to save his job.

Yup easter monday against wigan this year.

I think i'm right in saying that they have only started showing their home games again this season because of the new tv contract.

Also least years play off game

"They'd butt each other like a pair of billy goats and would both look like a mess at the end of the game. I'd often see Billy an hour later sharing a beer with his rival, with both blokes sporting half a dozen stitches in their scones. They were a breed apart, fornt-rowers - blokes like Bluey were proof of that." Johnny Raper on Billy Wilson and other front rowers of the time

Normally fixture changes don't bother me THAT much, but its a bit different travelling to another country for a break because lets be honest, nobody would go to france otherwise

You have just answered your own question there. How many fans would your club take to France in February as against in June or July.

Well, if SKY moving this game to a Sunday is the start of something new, I suggest that fans from every club should be concerned. The highlighted games below are the only no saturday games and ALL were played on Bank Holiday weekends. If SKY are now in control of the French TV rights, then good luck booking future trips to Catalans
This is the first time the French will have played on a Sunday evening and goes to show what SKY think of rugby league fans
