We all know the RFL love FC. They stepped in to save us when we were threatened with extinction, let us off over Thackray's registration. They'll just change the rules to our advantage. Perks of being a big, profitable club that actually plays homegrown players (not just names them as token members of the squad), has a great community programme, lovely stadium to play in and has been in 3 finals in 4 years (in case you missed Rule saying that last bit). The fact that we're rubbish on the pitch only counts for 1 point anyway - maybe they'll overlook that
