RED
The unbridled joy of haveing to work at the airport today, for a football hater matter from heaven.
Imagine FM haveing a Queen two in a row this morning and them playing Barcelona as the second track, maybe unfair to the Utd fans based in Stockport but sheer comedy value otherwise.
As someone else just said the excitement about tomorrows game.
A night in Wigan after the game and a new Indie club to enjoy.

The British press's preocupation with the football as front page news on the very same day that the Korean peninsula had a despot testing nuclear devises and rockets.
Making the mistake of popping into Aldo in the Traff and walking out with £100 worth of shoes.
A mad rush to get into wigan in time to partake in pre match drinkies.

[quote="GT"]1) That's a perfectly acceptable spelling used by Reds to wind you blues up. It obviously works.
2) We did get beat by the better team. We can live with it. What's funny is people like you and Enfield Exile taking such delight in another club's victory over United and another club winning a trophy because your own pathetic club can't manage to do either.
not just us G.T but the rest of the country
on your honours list, there is no mention of F.C?. SO YOU REALLY DO LIKE GLAIZERS TEAM THEN.

I thought we'd get reality checks against Wire, Leeds, Huddersfield and Bradford though . This season has been very strange - who would think we would win at the KC, Headingley and the Galpharm - we seem to be ignoring our previous records.

Maybe so but i love the fact the rest of the country hates us and that's the way the vast majority of United fans like it! The day we are loved is most probably the day we have stopped being succesful.

Salford City Reds are the National League Champions again and nobody will ever win a Grand Final more dramatically than this. Division One champions, Grand Final winners, winners of the Northern Rail Cup; everything their hearts desired. Down and out? Not a bit of it, they are never out. Memories are made of this forever and a day, Salford fans will ask "where did you watch the 2008 Grand Final? Where did you see John Wilshere save the day with the last kick of the ball?"

Many people dislike United because the fans are obnoxious, think that winning trophies is a sign that the fans are superior, and the your club has acted ungraciously throughout it's history.

Trying to get a beer pre match in the town centre with kids in tow, how can it be a family game when you get turned away from pub after pub for having kids with you?.
Getting ejected for taking excpetion to being told to leave children unattanded to enable me too get the 4 pints of beer I wanted as opposed to the 2 I was rationed too.
The general inhospitable and unhelpfull nature of the Warriors staff.
Will never be making a trip to the JJB again.

If you're going to try and lower yourself to such pathetic 'comebacks' at least learn to spell the c*nt's name properly.

Yes we can. If you'd seen my posts elsewhere you'd see I have no qualms about Wednesday night. As I've said, I just think it's funny that supporters of a club who can't win f*ck all themselves have to celebrate another club winning a trophy.
Now, let's not let this thread degenerate and be taken over by yours and Chris Charles No1 Fan's bitterness anymore.
