Would be more than happy for him to stay on similar terms to other props but not on high contract rumoured to be on now.
Quota ? - Already committed to Luaki, Berrigan, Fitzgibbon - presumed last two would go to a 7 and an outside/full back.
Linked to Brent Kite in last nights paper - is this just the club appeasing rightly disgruntled pass holders who might vote with their cash next season ?

Nope. Appears to be Smailes speculating with little or no basis in fact.

General question to anyone who might know - if Lauaki is coming with a Tongan passport in his back pocket will this still mean he is on the quota ?

he's one of those players who hasn't let the club down, but at the same time I don't see myself remembering him in a few years time
Totally agree !! He has been solid, dependable, professional while he has been here but if we are to get back to where we want to be (and should be), we shouldn't be even contemplating another contract for Cusack.
He is one of many average signings that we have made in the last couple of season that have caused us to go so far backwards so quickly .
Release him and use his quota spot and salary cap space to get another big go-forward forward.
THANK YOU Mr. PEARSON, FOR RIDDING US OF FCKWIT FUBAR, CEO TOOL AND THE STINKING UNCLE KATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
