Erm... Wake up, you two. He has said he wants to stay. Twice. In a week. Discussion over.
I hope you're right but I am pretty certain we will see another ambiguous statement from Ronaldo in the not too distant future. Maybe Asim is right and he likes the attention, who knows.

Mid-table mediocrity, bottom half of the table finishes...
Even current times at United aren't exactly rosy. One 'bad' (in the context of the modern day United) season and the whole club goes tits up thanks to the large amounts of debt we're in.
You're right about United not caring about traditional supporters, though. But I don't see what that's got to do with the discussion? Unless you're being somewhat arrogant yourself, "I know what it's really like to see hardship. I'm a proper football supporter."
This is why I stopped posting on here for a while. It's impossible to have a sensible discussion for the most part.

So, it's an England side that will be representing GB at the 2012 Olympics by the look of it, after the Scottish, Welsh and NI FAs wrote to FIFA stating they have no objections to that being the case.
Best chance of winning a medal, now being able to avoid the politically correct selection process of making sure each country is represented?

I also wonder if it'll have any effect on the venues chosen? Even if the side is named GB, I can see it being less than popular if they play outside of England. Of course that doesn't stop other nations going to Cardiff, Glasgow, etc.

Is there a range on how far afield you can have your venues from the main stadium? Glasgow is what, over 300 miles from London?

That is because all the mourners in self-pity city conveniently try to sweep Heysel under the carpet while they are taken up with their own campaign for "Justice".
Too many Heysel stories would pi$$ on their bonfire and we can't have that.
