Just out of interest, what would you regard as a reasonable wage for a scrum half of Dobson's ability and importance to the team?

When you put it that way I think Dobson would have strong case for being our top earner!

He's been worth every penny

He is our main player and as such should be on top money, he should be comparible to any other top overseas player, such as Berrigan, Riddell.

I agree, he's turned out well for you lot, but you still paid over the odds for him and you will do again.

If we're under the cap, why does it matter? I couldn't care less about player's salaries or how much money it took to get them over here. If they all fit under the cap then it isn't a fan's concern IMO.

If Dobson is getting more than he is worth and we are under the cap, we've got some incredible bargains elsewhere in the squad. His value does seem to fluctuate according to how likely he is to leave, for certain posters. Not me though...

I didn't agree he's worth every penny, but i'll admit he's looking more like a £100k + player now then when you 1st signed him. FWIW i think you should pay him what he wants, decent SH's are few and far between at the moment. From our point of view, i'd be quite happy to see the club splash out up to £200k for the likes of Orford.
