Anasta would be awesome in Super League, whether he would want to go is another story. He may well be leaving the Roosters at the end of the season as he's out of contract and the Roosters signing Todd Carney.

In the article above it states he has 2 and a half years left on his contract.
Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.

He won't go running back to Aus, he isn't a fair weather player. He's still arguably the best 7 in SL, he isn't an unknown as we've seen what he can do in our league.
The above doesn't apply to Orford or any other Aussies who've never played in SL, we don't know how they'll go, we've seen many Aussie's do well over there and do nothing in SL, Long will.
He's 32, so what. We'll get 2 years out of him, his experience and will to win is second to none. After his 2 years with we'll then have Sam with 3 years SL experience and further experience from one of the best British halves over the last 10 years in Long.
We need a leader and someone who can move us around the field, he's the man for the job.
Ideally, (if we could fit them under the cap) I'd like to sign Myler and Long. Move Sam to FB and play split halves with Myler and Long. Let them both learn from Long. Long doesn't need to play every game as occasionally we could move Sam to 6 to partner Myler to prepare for the future.
So two years down the line we'd have a Tomkins and Myler, both with experience at 6 and 7 both learnt from Long, leaving us with quality halves for many years to come.
We also need a prop, but is Aus really the answer? Maybe, maybe not.
Now I will hit you with my trademark enter a line up for next season to show my Wigan team for next year.

Roberts Gleeson Carmont Richards
Myler Long

I'm sure there's no need to be so cryptic. The club leaks like a sieve. If you tell us what you've heard, no-one's going to trace it back to anyone in particular. There'll be no payback.
