When he was at Huddersfield, I got the impression he was held in high regard by the club and fans.
I also don't think he is the best player on the planet, but far from the worst, so what's gone wrong at Hull?

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

His regard with the fans fell at the same time as Sharp's. Sharp was blamed for playing people out of position and Thorman was the number one example of this. Before that he was a top class performer for us and held in high regard for Fartown. I still believed in his ability even out of position at full back, but I know many others didn't, however after Sharp left and he moved back to half back, many people thought Thorman improved again. Thorman was a good servant for the club, scored lots of tries, set up many more, a good goal kicker and was a decent leader, it did turn sour according to some, but I think most would admit on the whole he was a good player for us over his career.
