That's the spirit, to be fair people are saying the first time in the current format.
I've never seen such bitterness displayed, maybe keith not being here isn't helping, funny how this thread is dominated by LFC "fans", not obsessed much.

Ok first time in this format but if I was them I would have shown they are not completely one eyed by saying that Paisley and Clough were also British managers to have done it.
It is not just the Champions League though Sky honestly tend to forget what happened before the Premiership far too often....unless its patronising the likes of Burnley and playing on their 33 years out of the "Top Flight".

I think they're always going to push such things as they've been a massive factor in the rise of the english game and the premier league in general, just gald Liverpool didn't win the league as te celebrations would still be on SSN. I agree r.e Clough and Paisley. both great managers and fantastic achivements at the time as their were much more dominant teams around then, by that I mean the likes of Bayern and Ajax who created a bit of a dynasty.
