Whilst I'm not saying I believe it, it's very possible he's spoken to Orford's agent and been told he's not available.

I hope that we have signed orford for next year but i would think what has actually happened is that we have made orford an offer for next year along with some other clubs and he will be weighing up his options and waiting for a bidding war - Hope this is not true as I am not sure we would win one - would love to see him here
