I hope he goes well for Wakefield, he's probably playing for a contract there as his chances of a game with us aren't great. He should go well, he will probably be the fittest prop they have ATM until Bumper's magic wears off.

I hope you are right an Mick can give us a bit of much needed grunt along side Moore,Bibey, furgie and Wilkes.

This sounds very good

maybe i'm wrong and he does a job for us, we'll see

Me neither! i think its more for our benefit, as in Korki getting SL matches under his belt and us still having back up there with sculthorpe! rather of had moore than sculthorpe tho

Transfer fees:
Real Madrid do it!
Manchester United do it!
now the Huddersfield Giants do it!

Sign of the times people, things change!

We have plenty of grunt. We do not have a passing / off loading / kick prop like Scully. It offers some variety and variation. So worth a look.

I'm not Sculthorpe's biggest fan but i think we've got the better end of the deal in this. Sculthorpe will be the nearest player we'll have to Crabtree i.e unloading the ball in the tackle at every chance. Whether he'll ever be fit enough to play is another matter.

that the best thing about the swap , i think both parties have come off better . just think you will need a Doug clause in the t&c's .

I would agree with you. It's a good swap for both parties and I echo what other people have said and I was expect Scully to take this new chance and train the house down for a chance to play as he needs to prove himself to get a contract next season.

I hope Korki lives up to your expectations of him at Wakie. We've built his fitness back up and he looks more like an SL player again.

Basically then you know sod all and dream figures or things to suit yourself, not once on your claims have you backed your statements up with actual true facts, just back peddled when you get shown up

At the cup game Wadski will be handing out free leather bound copies of his latest book: "The contracts of Michael Korkidas". The foreword is a moving piece by Terry Matterson entitled - 'Korki the son I wish I'd had'.

Get there early!

think you have got that about right mate. both parties will benefit. nathan brown imo is an excellent coach. a no nonsense guy who seems to have got korkidas fitter than i have seen him in a long while, and playing quite well . he has built his confidence since his nightmare at cas. he knows by keeping him playing 21's and in and out of first grade is not the way to go. out on loan he is gaining more confidence. playing first grade week in week out , so when he does return hopefully a better player. as for wakey, they have got rid of a problem with sculthorpe. hope he can turn it round. if not at the end of the season, he could be going over the pennines with another hudds prop.
