So he'll be taking over coaching duties as well? Berrigan is world class, one of the top 2 or 3 players in SL but he's made feck all difference because of the way we play

No size in the forwards
One man rugby
No dummy runners
No set plays
Too many ordinary players around him
Slow PTB's
Poor positioning in defence
Defence standing still allowing the opposition easy yards

And stacks more problems. You'd think with 2 coaches things would be better but maybe it makes things worse. They look like they don't see each other between matches.

Berrigan is a case in point. His speed of thought is so far ahead of the other players he looks like he's making bad decisions at times.

He must be so pished off at having to take orders from the idiots in charge

I don't entirely agree with that personally. We have enough size in the back row, definitely. Thr front row lacks a little bit of size, but with Lauaki to hopefully come in, the possibility of Moa improving, we're only really only missing one big prop IMO. There's also Maloney to remember. He's only been full tiem for less than a year, so we may yet see him continue to get bigger. Per the SL website, Morley, Peacock, Guisset and Fa'asavalu all weigh in at less than Dowes, Cusack and King, but all have considerably more impact. The problem isn't simply our lack of size, it's the poor way we utilise it, ie not running hard enough or showing enough aggression.

I also think that of the other points, all but the ordinary players issue are easily improved by a good close season with a decent coach. This is actually what frustrates me so much, we have a lot of problems which are very obvious to identify and should be fairly simple to put right. It baffles me why we fail/refuse to do so.

if berrigan is moved to SH for the rest of the season he would make a difference. His speed of thought and enthusiasm in the 2nd half proved that, but the players will need time to get used to having a better player providing for them.

orford will only be anygood if hes given time and space, will only get that with a big fast phsical pack,so if orford comes we need to make big changes in the forwards.

TBH last night we made good ground against Leeds but when we get in the oppostions 20 we just can't break through due to poor decisions, lack of creativity, no options etc. We just don't make the opposition have to think or work hard in defence.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Orford would obviously make a difference. He is able to make decisions on the field during play. He can kick a rugby ball like good scrum halves kick rugby balls. He can direct and organise other players and tell them what to do on the pitch. I agree that our forwards would need to lay a decent platform and it's a shame Crocker isn't here to help with that. But world class players make a difference regardless.

we arnt quick enough at the play of the ball,we need to be a lot faster, then maybe thorman could do somthing in attack,he just gets battered eveytime because were too slow.

Exactly my point, it's how you use your weight. He's 101kg per SL website, 104kg per Leeds'. Our website has Dowes at 108kg, Cusack 103kg, King 108kg, and they're all actually shorter than Peacock. Their comparative ineffectiveness is therefore not down to their lack of size.
