OK, so Matt Gidley is in his own league as far as SL centres are concerned, but Senior is the next best out there even at his age. Shenton is promising but only just out of nappies, Yeaman is hit and miss and Gleason is the most overated player since Stuart Fielden.

Senior has been the best, most consistent, back in SL history by a million miles. He is still the best GB centre by a million miles. Apart from Cunnigham no-one comes near him as the most consistently outstanding player in SL. Those that can't see it need to take off their club glasses.
