From reading interviews with him and Peacocks autobiog. it seems to me that the pressure of playing as the most expensive player and at a club like Wigan where the fans really expect a lot really gets to him. He needs a step down to a good less succesful SL club. Hudds / Quins or something..

The thing that annoys me about Fielden is that he won't change his technique. Against Warrington there was one point where Morley jumped out of the line and smashed him and Fielden did his stupid 'bump off' thing and ended up turning around and going backwards another 5 metres.

What did O'Loughlin do. He is one of your better players. Fielden was shot before he ever came to Wigan.

If you are looked to boot a show pony I would start with the knock on and penalty machine Gareth Hock.

If he keeps leading with his knee into the tackle he won't have to pretend.

It makes me laugh. I mentioned at the weekend that if he had said what he said on Sky in another sport he would have been all over the papers, forced to appologise and fined by the authorities.

"Please leave you doubled over fatherless child" was quite a naughty thing to say, so why wasn't he sent off at the time if the ref heard it?

It's quite embarassing for Super League to have such a gentle, girly player up on charges for violence. It's just wrong. It'll be the first case I've heard of where a player turns up for a disciplinary hearing only to be laughed at and told to 'man up'.

Knowing Fielden these days he'll probably break down and have to have his hand held or he won't go in.

Not sure if the ref did hear it, it could clearly be seen what he said on a replay though.

On a seperate note I think Calderwood may also be in trouble after having a go at the ref and TJ. He was also clearly heard swearing on the ref's mic.
