Friday evening? No thanks.

Welcome to my world.

Our next two home games are moved from Sundays to Friday Nights. I work in Manchester. DurhamGiant will either have to book time off work or not attend.

Oh...well that's OK then
The chance to attempt to get a "manly" type crowd to the game v Bradford, with the junior league club getting a bit of exposure and a BIGGER REVENUE THAN THEY WILL BY DOING IT ON THEIR OWN, is less important to a bit of inconvienience to ST holders.....fine.
Let's carry on as normal....we really are doing such a great fuxing kob....so why bother trying something new
Average gate of 361 with a massive inflated crowd for the herritage day  (or in real terms 269) leaves a possibility of another sub 1,500 crowd at their MASSIVE event. On the other hand, a 20% share of a 7,000 crowd with a 50/50 share on profits from beer/food etc....doesn't wash with them. Good Luck skolars, but if you bite the hand that offers help, then you really are on your own as far as I am concerned.
Lastly, we down here do not have the history of inter-club bitching and back stabbing, but it would seem that Skolars have a massive chip on their shoulders. Don't pretend to know why, but we have very few "prospects" on our books that are off to help out the skolars.

I'm not arguing it nor trying to be negative, I'm just saying that it doesn't work for me. The "bit of inconvenience" would mean my missing a game I'd otherwise watch.

SORRY....It's a discussion me and the management at Skolars need to have. Just find it worrying that they have 200 odd fans, yet turn down the opportunity to increase revenue and awareness.....on principle
It's my club and I'll kill it if I want to!
Insane decision from Skolars In My Opinion of course :P

Always thought Skolars seem to be heading in a different direction from Us.Not sure what Their long term plan is but I believe Big Mac has a Good relationship with them.

Why are you (gutterfax) so obsessed with the fact that it was Skolars decision? Maybe the club saw sense for once and did the right thing and put the match on the Sunday. I agree with BroncOnion on this one, Friday night and I wouldn't have gone either.

Have very little interest in the Skolars tbh.

August 8th was the correct decision IMO. At least the small contingent of Bulls fans (me included) can travel that day rather than a rubbish Friday night fixture.

Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly IS planned at the moment, as far as the bulls/mighty Cougars double header to London is concerned? I quite fancied the idea of it...

Strange, clubs up north expect our fans to travel on Friday nights.

Our game has been confirmed to be on Saturday 8th August, perfect for home fans and travelling fans.
