Keighley Cougars are getting involved in market research!
The Co-operative Championship One club are going to check out the opinion of their fans about their game-day experience at Cougar Park by conducting a consumer survey at Sunday’s home game against Swinton Lions.
Hannah Molloy, an RFL Management Academy student who is now attached to the Cougars will, together with a team of volunteers, be meeting the fans at the game and asking for their opinion of what it’s like attending games at Cougar Park; what they think could be improved; how the club could boost the number of people attending matches and what other facilities would be needed to make visiting the stadium a better experience.
Helen Carter, the Keighley Cougars General Manager, said: “Having Hannah available to us gives us the opportunity to undertake such important projects as a fans survey.
“We’re in the entertainment business and it’s important that we understand what the fans like; what they would like to see and what they see as the things need to improve.
“We hope that the fans will understand what we’re trying to achieve and help Hannah and her team fill in the forms.
“Once we have completed the survey then we can collate the information and use it to direct our priorities for the development of the business and the stadium”.
So, so PROACTIVE , just another reason why i have always and always will have the softest of pleasure spots for Cougars .
Never played in Yorkshire for any team and am Lancashire through and through but Cougars from way back have always been in the forefront of progressive action on and off the pitch .
Dare i say we almost have a franchise on innovation and its a pleasure supporting such a CLUB and Team
No, i am not going soft , still have ISSUES , listen to me IF we lose to Swinton.
Hope the lass who stops me at the gate has a few reams of paper handy . JOKE !
I'm pretty much a new cougars fan - been once or twice over the years but this is my first 'proper' season. I answered that questionnaire in the bar but didn't really feel qualified to give opinions on some stuff.
I'm really enjoying it, but feel that Cougars could do more to advertise their presence in the areas surrounding Keighley; we live in Silsden yet never see anything cougar related at all!
What do other people think the club should do to raise their profile and get more fans to the games?
