A lot of people have been saying how great it is that Burnley are up, and I agree, on paper, it's a great story. Coyle has done an outstanding job, the football they play is good, and it is another new team in the prem. Great.
However, the Burnley fanbase is littered with scroats, scallies and nasty b*stard trouble makers. East Lancs will be like a war zone when Burnley and Blackburn play each other next year. I suppose Blackburn might sell out a home game, so thats a plus for them.

Although I've no idea what contract lengths are like in the Newcastle squad, there may be a large batch due to run out by the end of next season for all I know.
You're spot on.
There's only a handful who are out of contract at the end of next season off the top of my head. Hopefully some of those will be moved on sooner rather than later anyway.

Putting Shearer in charge would be entirely the wrong decision made for the wrong reasons, but it would cover the owner's back if it does continue going belly up on the field.
so essentially, again, it the newcastle fans that are the problem.
Ashely is making decisions to stay in favour of the faithful.

The Burnley fans are so stupid that the last time we played them and beat them at Ewood they waited to get back to Burnley then decided to smash up their own town.
