Carl Webb's contract is until the end of the 2010 season and he is meant to be on $300,000 Aussie per year. So what is that in English? About £140k a year? Value for money on that wage? Further, I guess we would have to pay over the odds to get him out of his extra year?

I doubt anything will come of it other than Thurston getting a bigger contract in the NRL.

Thurston, however, is the type of 7 we need.

We already have three workhorses in O'Carroll, Prescott and Fielden. People keep saying we need an enforcer to run alongside Feka. I can't think of anyone else in RL I'd rather have alongside me than Carl Webb if I was in need of an enforcer.
