To be fair we had 9 players with first team experience and 5 of them were regular first teamers last season so for a young side like you had last night it was always going to happen but they kept fighting and working hard thats all you can ask for up against such a experienced team hopefully things get better for you all

Cheers.....it's nice when fans from different clubs can stay nice.

Thanks for that Hawk cant knock the effort last night they did keep trying but were out played by a very good and skillful team but as the Hawks coach said after match youth development doesnt happen overnight and that the Hawks were in the same position a couple of years ago, it just takes time and eventually some of these kids will turn the Dons around

He speaks with forked tongue mate. Two seasons ago my Mate (the one who played at a different club at the time) travelled to Hunslet for a match, only to find that the 1st team coach had insisted about 10 or 11 of the 1st team had a run out, so we watched from the stands as the Hawks Academy pasted a virtual 1st team! They were very good then and obviously are still now! That said, the word of encouragement are nice to see (hear?).
Did we manage to field 17 last night, as one of my friends still didn't get a call to play?

No doubt about it they are a good well drilled side mate, yeh we had 4 subs and an 18th man last night, all subs used, there was also a couple of new players i have not seen before playing last night

Exactly why my mate is p155ed off! Why bother turning up for training if every week new faces walk into the squad?

they might not have been new to squad mate just that i not seen them play before they did pick up a few knocks last night so maybe your mate will play next week i can understand his frustration though if he is training regularly what position does he like to play
