Equally we cannot fault them if they move firms for better wages.

Insane teacher be there reminded of the rhyme.
There'll be no mutant enemy we shall certify;
Political ends, as sad remains, will die.

Yet at the same time you have to question ourselves as a club if we can't actually keep any of these players.
I've said before what is the point of developing talent if other clubs are just going to poach every promising player from you - especially now that the franchise system is in place, it just goes completely against the idea of every club in the league developing young talent. We need to get our young players signed up on longer contracts, even if it's just for another 2 years until the "2nd round" of franchises kicks in.

Seems simple to me-
assuming that the players are jsut gona go where they can get paid the most (which everyone seems to be doing but mite not happen) then that's not gona be us!
So either we're gona keep them because they want to stay or there gona go for more money of the chance to play consistantly at the top of the table.
There is a real team spirit and it is very evident in the performances. This, I think, has been the foundation of the performances over the last 2 months. I think that with the addition of 4 or 5 new players, to compliment our existing better players, we can have a very good team.

I do love smithy68's new found confidence, I have to say. Considering his first few posts were all "sack the board, get McRae and Simms out, Wilky should go because we've not won anything since the seventies..." Ad nauseum.
