Maloney has a long way to go, seen him play plenty of times and looked good in the NL's but not seen him impress in SL yet, even though they were good reports from his performance against Saints(easy to get up for your debut).
what a load of crap, maloney is already twice the player wheeldon ever was at hull. And he's only been full time 6 months.
Fitzgibbon contacted Rovers and asked if we would be interested in making him an offer to which he was told no.
I'm told he has followed Rovers results for years - even through our dark days in the National Leagues because of the family connection with his Dad still being friends with some ex-players.
Like it or not, Rovers was his 1st club of choice and I think we did show some interest in mid-2007 but he'll be playing in the city of Hull which is the next best thing to him.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's a really bad signing, it just irritates me when your CE James Tool makes out that he fended off competition from Wigan and Saints which gives your fans a distorted view of your club's pulling power.

Stan is a legneg in RL, I have a lot of respect for him and what he has done in the game.
But he isnt the player he once was IMO.
Also commitmmet isnt a problem at Hull, average players and poor caoching is the problem.
It's all about opinions, and obviously Stan isn't the player he was ten years ago, but he still has heart, and plenty of it, if he hadn't he wouldn't have got a contract for this season.

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

I'm sorry but I find that hard to believe.

I am talking sense, you just don't want to accept your team has problems throughout and that a player of Stan's age is putting certain players in Hull Fc's squad to shame.

No wonder your on field performances are going the way they are if you believe in garbage like that! Glad your coaching set-up see it that way aswell.
did you see every game wheeldon played for hull? Have you seen every game maloney has played for hull?
Have I? Pretty much yes, so I think my opinion is slightly more educated than yours!
