this salford team has one off the best foundations of the team for many years to come , MR WILKIE you should sit down and talk with the players agents , of myler , ratchford , adamson and turner , and sign these players on long term contracts what ever it takes , as this really will be money well spent , with these four players you have the core of the team , i am 100% sure all four of these players will play for england and possibably GB i only hope they do it in a salford shirt, i feel if you could get these players to sign long term contracts the future will really be rosy

no thats the sad thing , he will probabaly will let them all go ,instead of fighting tooth and nail to keep them , no matter what it costs it will not be a gamble re- signing these players ,longterm , i only hope the directors have the sense to do this ,as to let this crop of youngster go to other clubs really would be a crying shame

That simply isn't true. I hope we can afford to keep them, if not we'll have to move on.

These players have played their ways to earning a decent amount from this game. Fact is.... can we actually afford to keep them when the big boys come in ? After all... we can only spend what we have... so don't be shocked if we do end up losing them... we must be realistic.

So can we afford to lay out thousands for 4 players... and be sub-standard throughout the rest of the squad.... or if the day comes... do we concentrate on having a full squad that can compete at a decent level at the expense of a large percentage of our salary cap being taken up by 4 players ?

It's a tough one.
