They should have gotten Ganson to put on a blindfold and blow his whistle at a random time with a light flashing over the fixtures still remaining in the comp. The ref blows, the light stops and the highlighted fixture is thus chosen.
It would have been like food and drink to Ganson too, as he refs his matches in a very similar fashion.

saints and leeds fair enough but what about the other match
yes but think its strange now that this yorkshire derby hudds v cas is on tv but the other yorkshire derby cas v fax wasnt its just because your both in super league and thats a fact as rafa benetez would say
There was an article in The Times the other week about CC games between SL and National League opposition. Was it 92-4, results wise? It was something like that, which gives you the most likely reason why the Cas-Fax fixture was overlooked for an all SL tie.

Why didn't they show us vs Rochdale or Us vs Quins in last round or infact any game in the first three rounds? Because they assumed would not be a draw for the TV audience.
Would they have shown Hudds V Fax? I doubt it.

that might be true but that stat doesnt tell you how many of the games have been decided by just a couple of points.

why did they put hull kr v warrington on a couple of years ago then when kr were in our league.
