We really need a top quality prop, a class scrum half with a kicking game and a creative centre with real pace. Don't think atkins would bet the answer to our centre problems. Look at saints. how many times have jamie lyon or matt gidley won them a game with a piece of brilliance? Remember what a potent attacking threat we were with Barnett and kohe love at centre?

Problem is that I doubt we can afford them all under the cap even with the players likely to be leaving

Fitzgibbon?

I don't see it as a job. It is a passion and love that we all share. Neil Hudgell

Think Lauaki may prove to be a good signing agressive big and can offload. We just need to teach support play and who knows it might work.

Seems to me that all clubs will come to rely less & less on foreign imports. Visa complications prevent meaningful long term planning - several clubs have been de-railed this year - not just us.

With that in mind why not BUY Atkins from Wakey - surely we can tempt him. What about a bid for Sam Burgess ? The Bulls don't look like the trophy winning money making machine they were do they.

Chuck Richie Myler in the mix & you have 3 TOP British prospects - wouldn't break the bank & I am sure one or two would go the other way in part ex.

Only fly in the ointment would then be exposing these talents to our coaching set up - how many of us are confident they can improve amybosy ?

Second fly is clearly our board showing ambition & getting their cheque books out !!

Sadly we all know what will happen - very little !
