I agree, but there is also the impact on the dressing room to consider, we hear rumour that there is an issue at the moment of some players feeling that others are over-paid for what they are doing, would bringing someone in on £200K a season not cause similar, possibly even wider, division?

Yes possibly. On the other hand a star player who is actually worth that amount (which everyone including the other players can recognise as being the case) should be able to be integrated into the team. If we're at full cap now (Crocker notwithstanding) I would say that too many average players are being overpaid at Hull - if they're the ones doing the complaining then I suggest they are the first to be made aware of the route to the exit.
