He's one of Hull's better players and he's British. Whilst I wouldn't claim for an instant that the first point makes him brilliant he has the skills necessary to play at SL level, and can perform those skills at a decent level on a consistent basis. He should be given the LF role with a ball playing mandate but I doubt that will happen.

Dont think either of them get much service tbh. A decent ball player in the middle of the park would show Yeaman to be what he is, a very very good centre. Whiting is benefiting from Calderwoods enthusiasm for me currently but should never be our first choice right centre if we want to compete at the top.
2 years younger and the way he played against leeds in the world club challenege was world class, if he is half as good that for us he would be a good signing
