Tomorrow see the official launch of England's bid to host either the 2018 or 2022 Football World Cup. There may be local interest because Hull is one of 16 English Cities shortlisted as possible venues, the KC would need to be enlarged to at least 40,000 capicity as this is the minimum required under current FIFA Regulations. It will be if it is selected. The FA and Government will help with costs of increasing the capicity of the selected stadia before 2018. IMO Hillsborough will be the only stadium in Yorkshire used if we win the bid.

Will it then be known as the KC / Gov / FA / SMC / Duffen Stadium ?
