I was stood right down the front and there is no way on this earth if a tv ref had of seen it would it have been a try!Even the lil scroat himself looked a bit suprised to see it given, the 2 touch judges were right on the spot for it and looked at each other as if tosay"ummm i don't know !!"
who cares anyway, but it would have been nice to have nilled a team in there own back yard!

Fantastic performance. mom Ratchford closely followed by Alker, Henry, and Cashmere. Turner is really starting to look at home in the Centre and the understanding between Henry and Willie is a real positive.
Thought we were excellent today, controlled the game completely. I would have to say that the forwards won it again for us. Adamson again MOM for me, top tackler, chased down hodgson when they made there break and made him turn the ball inside so that Henry could tackle there guy, and the pass for gouldings try. Closely followed by Myler, I think the only player would didn't score a 7 or 8 for me was Paul, missed a few tackles and was average. But the rest of the team were excellent, very commanding win, didn't have a squeaky bum moment all match, in fact I felt we could have stepped up a gear if needs be. Also thought willie makes a big difference on the left centre.
overall I am very happy and impressed by my team, I apologise for any negative comments earlier in the season but we really seem to be finding our feet now and teams know that playing us they have to be 100% on their game, which is a nice feeling. Bring on the bulls!!

I'm really excited about Talau after seeing him back in the side for the last 2 weeks. He looks like such a handful going forward and more often than not looks to put his winger away first rather than going for glory himself.
I'm liking Turner more and more at centre as well - he's got a lot of pace, as shown against Leeds earlier in the season and he can put in a big hit in defence as well.

He was still the only player on the field who managed to bring down Crabtree in a one on one tackle though
Just want to say a very well done to Salford today, the best team won, looked more commited and more creative and had the better defence.
Oh and I was one of the Giants fans that didn't boo my own team and stayed to the end as I always do.
Good Luck for the rest of your season.
If i was to marry, i dont know if i ought to, if i would, if i should , i'd marry a Prop's daughter, she'd go down, i'd go down, we'd all go down together, we'd be alright in the middle of the night going down together!!

Couldn't agree more, defence was absolutely spot on today. As for the attack, well we did the basics right & controlled the ball superbly. I'm led to believe that we completed at 90% today & that's outstanding. Even more so when you consider the mad last 10 minutes when neither side looked capable of controlling the football. 1-17 can be proud of the outstanding effort that was put in today. Up the F***ing Reds!

What a fantastic performance sunday, We kept the arm wrestle thoughout and Huddesfield ran out of steam, happy with the commitment and passion shown by the 1-17 to win the match.

Hope the roofs kept you dry.
Unfortunately the lack of roof over the streets of Huddersfield meant I got p*ss-wet through walking to the Bradley Mill School Club. This distinct lack of facilities took the shine off the day for me.
