If you're not interested in football, then just don't comment. The revenue and extra publicity of another one of OUR city's teams in the top flight (hopefully) is both needed and welcome.

I think he meant he wants Newcastle to go down (check the quote and the bold bit).

Have been criticised by mates for this, but have supported Newcastle (and Rovers) for 15 years, and so in that time have just never felt any connection to City like I do for the other two.
