If he hasn't done anything decent in 4 years why is he getting picked for Aus and SOO?

Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.

Quite sad, really!

SPOT ON!

Do you think he's better than Lee Radford and Danny Tickle?

Have you been watching the team NSW have been putting out?

Don't get me wrong he is a good player but he is at the end of being a good player and you can see each season he is getting less and less effective. His goal kicking and phenominal tackling workload have given him his rep and spots in the past but he can't keep that up at his age.

He may be a surprise like Ben Galea has been for us but I would be disappointed if we had signed him, especially as it looks like O'Meley might be being released from the Roosters and imo Hull should be spending all their pennies on finding a decent scrum half.

I think this should be added to the development thread!

I did point out it was working well and that other clubs would join in.

Hull now carry on showing that the development system is working fine.

By 2012 England will be tonking the Aussies in every match.

yep the lack of fear of relegation has clearly put a stop to the ridculous wastage of RFL money on 30+ year old retiring NRL players!

As much as he's a decent player, this is why SL is ridiculed, 33 next year!

We have signed another Radford

I'd often see Billy an hour later sharing a beer with his rival, with both blokes sporting half a dozen stitches in their scones. They were a breed apart, fornt-rowers - blokes like Bluey were proof of that." Johnny Raper on Billy Wilson and other front rowers of the time

Without wanting to contribute to the KR v FC debate, I agree.

Menzies: legend of the game, awesome player, seems to get better with age. Some of us raised an eyebrow when he signed due to his age, but he's proved his class.

Fitzgibbon: even the Aussies have been wondering how he keeps getting selected. Oh, his heart's there and the effort cannot be questioned, but sometimes age equals a general slowdown and loss of that 'edge'. Yes, he can kick, but so can Tickle.

Lack of foresight from the FC board there. But they're not alone in that.
