When Man City moved stadiums there was some debate as to whether it should be called City of Manchester Stadium or Eastlands. AFIK no one suggested it being called Maine Rd, simpy because there was an unspoken agreement that that description should remain the preserve of the old ground. I'd be surprised if Liverpool fans wanted the new stadium to inherit the titkle "Anfield".
