Getting out of the ground in car is a nightmare so I wouldn't fancy your chances, I'm afraid. Even if you were to get a taxi from further away from the ground it would be a push to get to station in time.

If this hole thing was the other way around I'd be really p*ssed off! It's a big deal making the trip to and from Hull to London for 80 minutes of Rugby and it's a shame we're not going to see as many of you as planned because of good ol' Sky.

It's 8:00pm kick off mate.

It'll cost about £6 and take 15mins in a taxi, but the traffic will stop you unless you meet it on marfleet lane by the fly over, and leave the ground via the old train tracks, it will bring you out there.

course it is for some reason I was thinking it was the Saturday night at 6

So to conclude, i'd need to know where I was going (which I don't) and arrange a taxi beforehand?

Try get a taxi (not a black cab) to the ground get him to drop you off at the Crown pub on marfleet (a few minutes from the ground) and ask him to book a car to pick you up from there at 9.50.

This would avoid the preston road traffic and should get you back to the station on time, but you might have to hot-foot it from the ground to get back there in time.
