No if Johns had enough respect for himself and his wife he would not have been in a position for the press to report on his antics.

Johns has nobody to blame but himself - he has got what was coming to him - the fact that none of you Aussies can see that does none of you any favours.

Just because the girl says yes doesn't mean you are any less of man for saying no - in fact you are more of a man for showing respect to your wife and refusing - all this about guys are out and girls are throwing themselves at that so how could they possibly refuse is complete b00lOcks perpitrated by neandethals who wish is was them.

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Funny how someone who knew the girl at time stated today that she was bragging about the day after...

The whole incident has been blown out of proportion by narrow minded media. A guy should never lose his job over something that wasnt illegal and soemthing that was 7 years again before he had his current job.

what a boring life worrying about all the married men that cheat on their wives.

do you hang around outside bro**els checking the customers that walk in to see if they are wearing a wedding ring

Have you been asking your 'special friends' to squeel like a pig? :D

I watched the documentary that started this on a well known video sharing site, and this woman has been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I'm sure she made that up too.
Whether it was consensual or not, this sort of activity boils down to the fact of having no respect for women. I agree though that Matty Johns has ended up being the fall guy for quite a few people it seems.

Yes he did - he made a massive error of judgement - there is no way the broadcaster can employ somebody as a front man for one of its most popular programmes with a character tainted in this way - the whole credibility of the programme goes out of the window.

RL is supposed to be a family sport - even Andrew Voss said last night that most adults would consider behaviour of this nature ie group sex, unacceptable - so how could Johns possibly continue?

The question from the lady journalist on the programme about the suitability of some of his players to the CEO of Brisbane was a very poignant moment in the programme - the CEO basically condoned their behaviour - seems if you are a star player you can treat women in whatever way you want and it is OK

What has someone's private sex life got to do with his employee?

If my sex life was splashed all over the national papers and it mentioned where I worked - I would be deemed to be damaging the reputation of my company - and contractually they would be within their rights to terminate my contract and my company would not hesitate in using it.

The company - Channel 9? has a reputation to protect - employing the likes of Johns after this would damage its reputation and potential revenue streams - simple really.

So do you think Johns should just continue on the Footy show as if nothing has happened?
