Going down, going down, going down!
Coming from a Chelsea fan, I thought you more than anyone would have realised by now that celebrating prematurely can make you look very stupid indeed.

Must win for us at Bolton if we lose i think thats you safe
Boro didn't play too badly, they just didn't take their chances. When we pressed and held onto the the ball, they didn't look very comfortable but on the break they looked like they could create things until the final ball let them down.

Long time to keep the Brasso stored. If they were on continent they'd be at job centre plus by now.
They have Job Centre Plus on the continent?
If there were managers who could do better than Benitez and Wenger, on the budgets they have, then they would be at risk of being fired. As both clubs know that it's 50/50 over whether there would be improvements or a disaster they are relatively safe in their jobs.
If either were to fall out of the CL qualifying places they'd be a lot closer to being fired.
Liverpool and Arsenal are correct in keeping their managers. The fact that they may have been fired at other European clubs means that it's the other clubs who are in the wrong, not Liverpool and Arsenal.

On here it's like:
liverpool fan: jolly good job united, well done. united fan: thanks you're not so bad yourself!
both sets: Let's sing and dance while holding hands!

Lord god is only one that really spices it up, because for some reason everyone disagrees with him, even though he backs up alot of his opinions with reasoning and logic.

ATEOTD I couldn't really give a tomtit whether you go down or not. I would prefer you to go down, it'd be good to laugh at you, but if you don't, you don't. You beat Boro on Monday and all it took to get over it was a shrug of a shoulders.
Contrast that with how I'd feel if the scousers won the league. Jesus, even typing that makes me shudder.
So enjoying a few minutes when it looked like you might go down was better than waiting for you to get relegated and it never happening.
No matter what happens, you've still had a dire season, you've still got a 5hitty owner who you can't stand, you're probably still gonna need to find a manager and some players who can actually play. At least you're missing out on winning the Championship next season.

Fair enough. They don't have the luxury where they can pick and choose their job

And why are we probably still going to need to find a new manager? Not everyone hates Ashley by the way.

You think that Alan "one win in 6 games" Shearer is going to manage you next season? You think that if he does manage you next season, he'll do a good job?
Not everyone may hate Ashley, but he is still a 5hitty owner. Gets rid of a proven manager, appoints the Runaway Bride, gets the blame when the Runaway Bride does a runner, says he'll sell the club but asks a ludicrous amount for it.
Newcastle will probably end up staying up, but that is clearly more down to the utterly awful performances around you rather than anything Shearer's done. And isn't Shearer going to be getting a huge bonus for picking up that one win? Really earned that bonus, hasn't he?

I think he will, yes. And I think he'll do a job good too. He's already pinpointed the huge weakness in our side by having a Premier League player scouted who would make a massive difference to our side, depending if we stay up of course.
Allardyce was taking us down, he had to go.
Who cares? If we stay up then he will have earned every penny.
