We already have a new second/back row coming with the Kiwi signed today. If Daz Griff played as he started the season then we wouldn't be needing a new prop either. Its up to our Coaching Team to sort him out and if he won't perform then OK we need a new prop.
We have an abundance of hookers and second rows and it may cause a problem with the salary cap by having too many second trows and not enough say centres.
i think the fact that Brown seems to keep trying to attract new half backs Carney, fulton, brough etc or we seem to be linked with a no of them suggests he is not happy with what we have.
As i understand it he has always seen Brown as a centre.
Mc nally will not be ready for SL next season. he is too slight and inexperienced to go straight in as our starting half back. I see him finishing at Whitehaven. then spending a year with us Full time playing academy and back up to the first team before making the leap in 2011
fa'alogo fills the second row requirements.
As for the props there is a problem with Griff. i agree it needs sorting or we get shot. This then leaves us with jacko or korki stepping up. I am not convinced that either is the BEAST or blockbusting prop we need. we only have 5 props now. If one goes he will have to be replaced and i would like some rough tough go forward prop who we describe as awesome to replace them not someone who we describe as solid and dependable.
if we are to really kick on next season with Browns team we need one or two quality players to improve the overall squad.
I agree we are looking over heavy in certain areas but SOME players will definitely be going and this will equalise it all out. I am not sure Jammer or walsh will be here next season and i would be surprised if we get to keep Moore.. I also think that we may see Raleigh moving to prop with another season to bulk out.
