Agreed, from what I have seen of O'loughlin he is playing well this year.

Purdham is in better form - that can't be nothing at all to do with the fact he's having to cover Faumuina's constant mistakes and missed a few weeks after been taken out off the ball could it?
So what if he's missed one kick at goal all season, Orr has taken most of Quins kicks and Sinfield is a better loose forward & kicker then Purdham.
You can't really compare stats between 2 players at different clubs even if they're close in the league either - different teams have players running different lines & playing different roles, at Cas Westerman is a ball handling wide runner most of the time and acts like a cross between a centre & stand off the way he plays.
I'd have: Westerman, Sinfield, O'Loughlin & Wild in front of Purdham - not necessarily in that order but they're all better players imo.
Now I'll wait for the typical Quins fan response of: Just because he plays for Quins or You're biased towards your own club

You won't get the London players don't get picked b0ll0x from me chum...what you will get is:
Westerman has played more games, yet is behind in every stat apart from missed tackles and errors.
As for kicks, Orr Kicks as well as purdham, but 21 from 22 attempts is pretty good.
Westerman got taken out.....not nice, but it happens. But if you are saying that is why he is behind purdham in the stats you are off your rocker.
Purdham offer a more complete all round game and that is why he is "currently" better than westerman. In a couple of years, we will see if westerman is the real deal, but on form, purdham is currently the better player IMO.

The evidence this year suggests he's the most creative forward in superleague with 6 assists.
Ben Galea, Wilkin and Sinfield the next 3 forwards on the list with 4.

We're mourning the exclusion of Shaun Briscoe and Peter Fox. If they can't get in Cooke and Murrell don't have a snowflakes.
I have feeling that the blend of youth will mean retaining a few grizzled veterens and skipping a generation. Anybody in their prime, who didn't make the World Cup, just isn't good enough. Selecting them now would be like admitting mistakes had been made.
