There is a vaguely worrying trend for Tomkins now, despite his limited number of games in the first team he has now been up before the RFL 4 times.

As a Wakey fan I have no problem with the outcome of the hearing. Tomkins did kick out but I wouldn't say it was malicious, more stupid and careless. Had he connected with sculthorpe on any part of him then yes a ban would have been justified. A fins and a warning letter about future conduct is the correct outcome and hopefully he won't repeat the offence again.
