Blows the rumour out the water i heard today.
“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club. Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you. "Rugby League is a simple game played by simple people. Rugby Union is a complex game played by wankers." How disgusting was it that neither Kath Hethrington or James Rule could be bothered to attend Richard Horne's big day at Beverley today?
And how sad it was to see so few of his team-mates supporting Horne on the day either.
By all accounts only Richard Agar Washbrook, Berrigan, Lee, Houghton, Burnett and Whiting attended - disgraceful!
In contrast, full credit to the Rovers lads who came to support Horne (Briscoe, Mills, Spaven) and most of all Paul Cooke who braved the embarrasing boos of some FC die-hards to take part in the Pantomine Horse race.
A special wrap too for Justin Morgan for putting in an appearance. It was nice to see him chatting amiably to Richard Agar and Horne throughout the afternoon.
