I think you're being harsh on Batley. One of the best results / performances of their season in their last league game against Leigh (Sundays Cup-tie irrelevant) and they've just snapped up an experienced half-back ... wish I could remember his name :wink:

I agree, some people (if they haven't already) will just get fed up of the financial rollercoaster-ride.

Just so you know Halifax operate on a pay as you play system but do offer generous win bonus.

Excuse my ignorance as I really don't know but how come your club is offloading players all of a sudden? I thought you had yoursleves on an even keel again now? Was your chairman not even speaking about applying for SL??

the club seems to have lost its way, this started in march when it started losing its better scholarship players, now first team team players , hard times ahead and applying for super league only a dream

This statement swayed my opinion more than the signing of Handforth to be honest.
