nice to see another club posting keep up your fixtures and results seemed to have lost the others

its a shame when that happens but i think it comes from the side lines. i know a couple of teams we've won as well this year who have gone off sulking one unnamed club that did not even come back to the club house.

cannot see that Stanley have won a lot of games this year but in this group its nearly always by the odd couple of points its a very tight group where any team on any given day can win . Good luck for rest of season

Thanks for that - I'll keep posting the crigg scores . We're playing shaw cross this week , beat them earlier in the year but they beat Stanley didn't they , so must have improved . Good luck fellas

cas panthers u9s returned to action in the league for the first time in 3 weeks and despite putting in a great defencive effort we went down 10-4 away at drighlington.

both teams defences were in top form with some crunching tackles been made by both teams all legal and in good spirit,a 4-4 all draw looked likely until drigs scrum half showed great footwork to score the winner.

this week we travel to eastmoor for what should be another tight affair.

and I can fair bet if you ask the kids "do want to go back to the club house to have something to eat and drink" they would, its the parents that should remember the kids are foremost and its called socializing, after the knocks on the pitch they should learn to talk about the game and where they went right and wrong,
its happened in our year but I now make a point to chat to the parents before and after the game

You're bang on . It just really annoys me when a player storms off or chucks food about none of the parents or coaches ever pull them up for it . But then again I suppose you could get a bit deep about this ( society etc.)

Thought the Crigg boys were a credit to your club after the game. You could see the dissapointment (because the game was so close) but they were very gracious, which as pointed out, is so often not the case. Would be dissapointed and surpised if the league dropped you down a group, you are too good a team for that to happen, best of luck for the rest of the season.

i was told last night at a meeting that townville tigers have now replaced shaw cross for the remainder of fixtures in group 1.

townville played their first game last week and got well beaten by stanningley sharks having won every game they have played this year prior to moving up,personally i though shaw cross were a decent enough team with the stand off in paticular been a very good player for his age.

looking at the fixtures its Whinmoor that Townville have replaced. Stanningley are a big step up from the lower groups to be fair.
