We went over the cap by 2% which was minor coz of a payment to a youth player who played for his country.

Other teams have gone over the cap by major amounts on several times but they don't win anything!

Yes I agree on the field you have been the best team in the super league era because of solid hard work. However you have breached minor salary cap restrictions in order to do this. But to say that the Salary cap is the only reason why St Helens are good would be silly.

I’m just saying that you have cheated off field in order to gain success on field however big or minor that breach was you breached it. Still there’s no taking away that you have been the most successful side in the SL era due to the amount of cups you have won.

Well do you remember the 2002 Grand Final when Bradford should of got a penalty. If the Referee had got the right decision and deacon kicked that goal that day it would have been a Bradford win. You were very lucky that Grand Final.
