No worries mate, it is just such a shame to see things the way they are.

Hope things straighten out for the Dons.

There's an easy answer to Carl Hall's problem in the link - play it at Castle Park. Might be a good test to see how it works out. I still think the best thing for Doncaster Rugby League is to become of the Rugby Union club - maybe in the same way that Leeds Rugby League and Union Clubs are one. It would save so much money in terms of overheads, and facilities. The new advisory board surely must consider this if they are using business minded principles.

The other thing about Castle Park is you know you will get a decent pint, and the welcome is far better.

I'd be very suprised if the Castle Park option hasn't already been discussed by the club---but it's still stated in the press release---
"we've drawn a blank so far in trying to fix up an alternative venue."
So there must be a stumbling block stopping that option.

We could swap the fixtures, and play them at home in July

I always get the impression that a move to Castle Park was never as "on" as reports suggested

I too had the impression despite some reported comments suggesting it might be on, that in fact any discussions stalled quite early on.

Things can change though, so as they say, never say never.
