Colin Best is a good player, he scored stacks for Hull and since he left Hull he's had a good scoring record in the NRL. Similar standard to Hicks.
Regarding Penny going on loan, not sure what this would do, he's played two seasons in the first team so its not like he needs experience of playing in the first team, surely its better he's here working under the guidance of Tony Smith, if that means being in the reserves for a bit then fair enough. If he goes on loan to Salford or whoever he'll just play in a team which loses most weeks, gets targeted, gets slagged off by fans, and will come back to us in a negative mind frame.
I think they can work with Kev Penny, he does have pace to burn and playing in the reserves in the short term won't do him too much harm. But feel he needs to work with the coaches to improve those areas he lacks in.....every player has areas they can work on.....He's a good lad Kev and derserves the opportunity to continue his development if in the long run that does mean a period out on loan, so be it.....as long as it does develop him....He is too good a prospect to let go altogether.....Still feel he was the scape goat in those early loss's warrington had........

Penny's Warrington career is over ,he isn't good enough to play in SL ,Hence why he doesn't get a game for us now ,we should loan him out until his contract runs out and spend the money saved on a good winger in his place, just because he is from warrington doesn't mean he has a right to play if your not good enough your not good enough and he isn't END OFF !

The last few times I have seen him put through he has been caught so I don't see where your statement of pace to burn comes from !

Try looking at some of the trys he has scored in SL, people are too quick to right a player off, just because they have a little bad spell, no one would be playing SL at all if we did that with every player

i dont agree with that but if he has not improved by the start of next season then i think it will be time to say goodbye
