Any predictions for the top 2 this weekend? I can see Liverpoo struggling a little bit at West Ham today and maybe dropping a couple of points...Nited should carry on where they left off in midweek v City tomorrow too...West Ham 1 Liverpoo 1 and Nited 3 City 1 for me.

Yeah, I'd much rather United signed Shearer and didn't win the absolute sack loads of trophies they won without him.

Having said that, If I'm being honest, I would probably have made a similar decision to Shearer. If I had to make the choice Shearer did - e.g. if United were sh*t and Newcastle were challenging for trophies, it would be difficult to turn United down to sign for Newcastle, even if it did increase my chances of winning stuff. Not sure that's the right attitude though - Torres came out with a great quote recently about how, at the end of the day, it's the trophies that you remember.

Nah, numerous trophies we've won without him helped me get over it...I'll awlays be safe in the knowledge that Jonathan Greening has been more succesful.
