took a "49" busload to cardiff twice - but insufficient interest in Edinburgh --so whilst Big Stu still had the numbers --a lot werent interested (for whatever reason !)

Maybe a "poll" would clarify !

Personally having been to both --no contest

CARDIFF is so compact and has all the facilities CLOSE to the venue!

Also with the credit crunch this year many would have gone but could not afford it, not so much the tickets as they are great value but the travel and accomodation.

Yes Cardiff has good bars nearby but if you came out of Murrayfield and turned right on the main road there were loads of pubs. If you went left then it's mainly residential.

Let's face it both are great venue's and both offer something different, I wouldn't complain about either to be honest and am already looking forward to next years weekend. :D

Edinburgh!

Been to Cardiff but for another occasion and I can't really see where my young un would find owt as enjoyable as those hills and open spaces for him to play on!! Yes Edinburgh is cold although I've been many times before and have yet to have anything but glorious sunshine there!!

edinburgh for me enjoyed it much more than cardiff, also tried 2 years in cardiff to get a room never managed it had to stay in hereford, no problems in edinburgh got a room for £30 straight away.

Defo Cardiff - much more atmosphere with all fans milling around city centre before/after. Better stadium too - only issue was closed roof.

Would expect them to return to Cardiff in future but will prob also go to other major cities like Dublin. Would be very interesting to see this event go to a southern UK city also at some point.
