This seems to be your problem at the moment. It is usually team spirit and sheer guts which changes Could'ves and Should'ves into Would'ves, which is maybe where you are lacking?
Actually, last night, I thought that's what we did have.

It's the ability I'm questioning

On paper from the outside looking in this should not be the issue therefore, thats why I guess its something else.

Certain players did not appear to congratulate Webster when he scored his tries in a manner that I would have expected - especially his last one. Just an observation which is why I question the team spirit. I thought overall the ref and haven let you back in the game which did give you some believe. If Haven had scored again at 22-10 you would have had a ponfull scored against you

So you would have definately scored a try

trys generally come from plays where the attacking team don't conceed a penalty. I can't say whether we would have definately scored a try because we did conceed a penalty.

oh yeah, the wind. forgot about that. good job we didn't get a try then, still wouldn't have been good enough.

This is where I'm having the problem - I have never thought this squad to be as good as other Widnes fans did. I really don't believe we are any better than Leigh, Haven etc. Only Halifax seem a bit above the rest.
